I have been a posting fiend on four different stories of late. I have a schedule of once a week for each of the four and they go a lil' something like this...
Fridays: Common Ground
Saturday: Michael
Sunday: Only Half: Redemption
Monday: Forgotten Ties

I've just completed another short- actually it is going to be in at least two parts.
The first part, however all seven pages of it is posted up on FP.
It is a Renate piece and falls sometime between his loathing for what he's become and the beleaguered vampire we meet again in Endgame. It is rather telling of how comfortable with his nature he is by this point.
It also is the start of the "earning" of Renate's reputation as the Rogue of Rogues, not all together deserved either...

Well first off, as of yesterday, Only Half: Before the Fall came down off of my Fictionpress profile. If you hadn't read it and wanted to I'm sorry, but I left it for a month with little response from anyone.
And I have plans for it BWA HA HA HA!!!
So you will have to make due with Redemption...I am thinking about stepping up postings on that one, because I would like to get back into Endgame before the summer is done...I have a lot of new stuff planned for that, including a new introductory chapter.
But first I have to get through the love story! Already I'm looking at another additional chapter between "A New Life" and "No Uncertain Terms." Though I'm still in the mull stages, and not sure how much worth the new material is going to have for the tale overall...
Anywho!
Another story that will be getting additional chapters is Michael...as I plan to flesh out the events between Michael's first day back at school after everyone finds out what he is and the events at the end of the year (One short chapter after...??? I must have gotten tired of it...lol!) So I'm going to be getting into Mandy's inability to tell her father about her relationship with Michael, and how he finds out - how the two of them break it off midway through the year - and of the incident with Andrea - and the REAL incident with Mandy's newest Ex Alex... If you don't know what I'm talking about it's okay...I'm just musing out loud! I"m kinda excited about it, because I almost wrote the whole Andrea/Michael/Mandy thing two years ago...and now I can do it without it being a "short" not related to the main storyline.
Lessee...I wrote another new chapter for FT a couple days back. With Tom in Stasis, and Mira not really visiting it seemed a good time to introduce a new player to the game...Dan.
I borrowed a passage from SO (Spoiler alert) and revamped it and expanded it so that Dan's appearance in FT isn't quite as abrupt. Besides he gets a bigger investigative role in tracking down our heroine. 
Another fun one...I found also that when I am writing characters with potty mouths...I become a horrible one...I cuss, don't get me wrong, but not like Dan...
And because he was, I was...a blue streak...LOL!

Good Evening...
Looking at my previous entry, I've realized I'm behind once again in letting you know my progress.
Revision and Reposting of Plague
First off, after some deliberation I've decided that the time is right to revise Gemutations: Plague. And being that it isn't anywhere near ready to start foisting on publishers, I've made the decision to start posting it once again on Fictionpress. So far all I have is the Prologue but as soon as I stop typing here, I plan on putting up at least "From the Desk Of..." if not Threats (Which needs one more once over before posting to get rid of some redundancies).

The Michael Anthologies
Another one, while not quite as prolific as FT, there have been new additions since I last wrote about updating here.
The Breakup - Michael finds out that Mandy won't tell her father about the two of them dating.
The Rebound - another girl starts paying Michael attention shortly after his breakup with Mandy.
I am currently halfway through writing the follow up chapter to "The Rebound" as well...I would tell you the title but it will give something away about the upcoming chapter.
Only Half: Redemption
Too many updates to mention. For weeks his was on a twice a week update schedule...there have been EIGHT updates to this since the last time I was through here.

Okay, I finally got the update for Only Half: Redemption knocked out...Check out "Growing up"
Another Andy chapter dealing with how the twenty-one year old is trying to juggle an upcoming marraige and his job at the garage his dhampir friend named for him. Nice little chapter...a little shorter than most but definitely not bad!
Another update will be coming soon for Forgotten Ties as the team bring Tom up from stasis for the last time. It will be told from Tom's POV, poor guy, he doesn't stay in darkness like most stasis patients...he knows exactly what is going on.
Another New update comes for Michael!. Michael's Dad warned him against Hormonal Stupidities, but in the heat of the moment, it didn't seem to matter. Now Michael may have to pay some of his adolescence, and much more, when Andrea suspects she might be pregnant.
And one more update for the day! Plague: Changes posted late last night! Coming back from yet another failed attempt at saving the life of a mutatgenic exposure, Tiger and Angelina do their best to move through their day...

Why? You may ask....well I'll tell you...
I decided in one moment of drunken brilliance that I need to go ahead with a little side project I started Last November called:
"The Rise of the Crimson Death"
The dhampir Adrianna firmly believes that her child, Cherlize, will spell doom for the Vampire Lord Gustav. She has the gift of prophecy, of ecking out a person's future with just a touch...
Her daughter has shown her true future, a vision that has never changed since she realized the visions were of her unborn.
All she has to do is survive long enough to ensure her progeny will fulfill her destiny.
Forgotten Ties: Rejoin the Living
Yup, finally got it done...
Tom has endured the torture of being aware in stasis for far too long. Even when he finds out they're about to remove him from the bag for good, he doesn't want to believe the news.
Gemutations: Plague - The Story of His Life
The story flips to Steve as he returns home from the altercation at the New Fresno Medical Center. He debates just what and how much to tell his live in girlfriend about what transpired.
*HELP* I need some sound advice on this one. I included this information so that the reader would be better acquainted with Steve, however, I need to know from someone who is a "reader" if they think the information is valid enough to include (especially the flashback). If you have a few moments that you can read through what is currently there of Plague, I would love some feedback...
Only Half: The Price of Humanity
The night of Cabal and Lucinda's 20th wedding anniversary is supposed to be memorable. But to have the vampire Ancient, Silver, intrude on their evening, is not what Cabal had in mind!!

It's not altogether where I want it...But I pretty much stripped every link off the front page and started over.
Now it is more functional as a central location to find all the links that I work through.
Direct links to most of my comics (primarily the active ones), links here to PBO, to my DD user profile, to my DA profile and both Fiction press and Fanfiction....
There is a new banner, a new look, pretty much a new every thing!!
I'm still mulling how best to utilize my site...because it has become more of a place where I put images that I need to link in other sites, than any kind of real showcase of it's own...

Good morning/afternoon...
Just wanted to let you all know that Redemption is finished posting on my FP profile and will be available to read in its entirety until September First, after which it will be pulled down.
And that means it's time for a tandem posting schedule for Only Half: Endgame and Only Half: Of Dhampirs and Warlocks!
They are parallel stories dealing with the happenings of both the protagonist and the antagonist (Cabal and Garrett respectively) for this time period.
Endgame
Cabal draws closer and closer to endgame - revenge against his father, the vampire rogue, Renate. But as things come together in that arena, they begin to fall apart in others. His recent activity - tracking cold cases to conclusion - has drawn the attention of Victor Sierra - the vampire hunters - the witch killers - an organization that has no use for the supernatural in the world - or so Cabal has come to understand...
Of Dhampirs and Warlocks
Garrett never knew that he was more than a warlock from a very powerful witching line. It wasn't until Meirakat began hunting his mother, Katharina, that she let him in on the secret. The vampire Ancient is his father. Meirakat wants her dead for the deception - the seduction - that resulted in Garrett's birth.
When Katharina is killed, Garrett turns to an unexpected place in order to get closer to his revenge. He turns to the witch hunters - the vampire slayers - the fearsome organization known as Victor Sierra.
There are two chapters up for Endgame, and the premier chapter of Of Dhampirs as well!

Well, as I said, today is September First and that auspicious date marks the removal of Only Half: Redemption from my fictionpress profile. Thanks for those who read and reviewed the story, I hope you liked the additions and revisions.
What is still updating?
Rise of the Crimson Death
The newest chapter is about Adrianna trying find a good way to tell her benefactor of her pregnancy. He guesses, fairly accurately the circumstances behind it and she fears he will abandon her to her own devices.
Only Half: Endgame
Cabal gets the dubious "honor" of meeting the Wanderer Garrett Kelly after an unsuccessful attempt to get his friend our of the Cathedral. He is surprised to find that he is also a supernatural...
Only Half: Of Dhampirs and Warlocks
The other half of the coin, Garrett is called back from a successful hunt because one of the new recruits attempted to escape and then attacked and nearly killed one of the guards. They suspect him of being a vampire...
Michael
Michael loses control when he witnesses Mandy's former boyfriend beating her in the hall.
Gemutations: Plague
Following more closely to the comic format for the storytelling, I have rearranged and revised "Finding Answers." Tom gets what he thinks is a break on the virus, only he can't get a hold of Tigershark to get a second opinion...
Forgotten Ties
Another attempt on Tom's life is thwarted, but not before some damage occurs....

What If: A Formidable Team is the latest installment of the Tales From the Dead Zone
Based on a dream about an alternate future for Cabal and Renate...it was insistent I make it into a story.
So I present to you a vastly different outcome for the two than the one we've come to know in Only Half.

For me it feels unfinished...like these AU versions of my fave characters want me to write this history...it's a hard thing to sit on it!

Forgotten Ties major revision and posting has finally wrapped up with The Letter. Because so much of this story has changed, even the ending is somewhat different from what it had been before!
Tom is released from jail three months after first being incarcerated and thinks that he's been abandoned by the few friends that he has left. His brother has disappeared after Turner's murder, which is a good sign that Tom's suspicion is right - that Steve finished what Ben started. When Mira shows up, he's surprised and relieved...
That means that Starting Over is next in the queue! You may remember that I put this up for ABNA (They're accepting entries at the moment if you're interested), two years ago. Well I've once again changed my mind about how the story should go down. It is once again back to the original chapters - the "Candle in the Eternal Night" portion has been pared off and will be used (eventually) in the prequel story "In the Beginning" I've been working on.
First two chapters are posted - picking up pretty much where FT left off with Steve's return to Kuala Lumpur.
That's all that's new...other stories are running, so if you're interested in them please check out my FP profile for my other efforts!

| The official "release" of In the Beginning |
|
The prequel Brothers Martin: In the Beginning has officially gone live over on Fictionpress. The first chapter is already posted (so I will be pulling it from here). Thank you to Ten for the assistance on it, and the suggestions she made on how to improve that part of the tale. I really appreciate it!
Each new chapter that is released over there will mean that it will come down from here.
Other updates
Starting Over has just posted it's fourth chapter. I've changed a lot of the story telling in "Murders and Subjects" dropping down to two POV's rather than the three or four that existed previously. The chapter introduces Inspectors Kwan and Yukio (thanks again Ten for catching my flip flop on the name) to the tale who are trying to piece the facts together into the murder of a international businessman.
Rise of the Crimson Death, though it has slowed down posting considerably is only about two chapters away from convergence of the two parties central to the developing storyline. The most recent chapter "Road Trip" has General Claudius arranging an advanced party to Germany in order to finalize living and transportation arrangements. Major Salus and First Lieutenant Hannibal are included in the party of twelve and end up discussing the pro's and con's of the trip...
Of Dhampirs... has hit the same snag in writing as it did the last time...LOL...I can admit that here...while I get over that hurdle, I would invite you to read up to "Cat and Mouse". Garrett decides that bouncing all over the immediate area where Cabal had been reported was not the best approach. Settling for the town of Jasper, he hopes to run into the girl who so intrigued him back in Yew. When he does however, it's not under the circumstances hoped for!

Of Dhampirs and Warlocks newest chapter "Growing Pains" is posted. After a nearly year long hiatus on new chapters written, I finally managed to find the bridge I needed to get the previous material tied to the later material (which is already written!!)
Sagira laments her life to Garrett...but finds her concerns are minor when Garrett show problems of his own.

| Crimson Death nearing the end! |
|
Rise of the Crimson Death has reached it's 19th chapter. All that remains is to wrap the loose ends I've left of Damien's House back together and conclude the story!! This will probably be in the form of an epilogue rather than hashing out the minor details of the clean up and retreat back to Italy by Damien and the remainder of his Court.
For some reason I have yet to fathom, this has been one of my most popular stories over on FP. The hit count for every chapter is high (relatively) and the reviews have been very supportive.
When this story is complete I can begin "The Devil's Own" without fear of stepping on the toes of the previous stories (IE giving away spoilers). I can't wait! It's been nearly a year and a half since this story breathed any kind of breath over on FP and I would really like to see the reception now that Cherlize's character is well established.
In other News
Hat's Off is the latest story to join ranks with the other bits and pieces from the Only Half Universe.
Cabal finds himself in SeaTac, passing through on his way into the Canadian Territories. The last thing he was expecting was to run into the one person he'd ever made an effort to spare during a feeding.
It is a two parter chapters fifteen and sixteen! Enjoy!
The Only Half Saga is about halfway through it's run of Redemption. Cabal and Lucinda have reconciled their differences and her effort to make a better "man" out of him has resulted in something neither of them really expected - marriage.
Starting Over is closing rapidly on it's final chapter as well. There are only three more chapters before we wrap up Steve and Maribel's adventures.
I'm seriously thinking about bring back "Promises, Promises" to follow up. I really loved that story and was always more than a little upset that it never got as much attention as I thought it should.

It's been a while, once again, since I last updated huh?
Starting Over and The Rise of the Crimson Death are both completed! WOO HOO!!
CD was not the most satisfying of endings, and the story rather short - compared to my massive writings in other areas of the Only Half Universe - and knowing me...I will probably end up expanding it out at some point in the future!
But the conclusion of CD heralded the beginning of the "sequel" (Actually it is the original story I wrote regarding the vampires/dhamiprs in Europe) The Devil's Own. We are Currently up to "The Challenge". Lord Damien requests a demonstration of Cabal's skills as a "Hunter" and Dominic is all too willing to put it to the test. The next chapter will post tomorrow..."What's in a Dream" explores Cabal's inexplicable recognition of the place Lord Damien and his Devil's Own call home.
Brothers Martin: In the Beginning is slowly moving forward again and has reached its tenth chapter! If you want to get into the details on what made Tom and Steve who they are today, you might want to check it out! The current chapter "Ninety Days..." is probably going to be quite the shocker for most...and for those who don't know the world in which the Brothers Martin work, I'm not going to spoil it for you!
I'm struggling a little to come up with a couple of the next chapters. We've had a role reversal where Steve's chapters are harder and Tom's are the ones I look forward to! Mostly because I have no idea what Steve was doing between the time he begged to be hired by Turner to the time we first meet him in the old "Candle in the Eternal Night" chapters. LMAO!!
Gemutations: Plague is to "One Step Closer." They've finally gotten a clue that might help them find the creator of the designer virus that threatens to kill humans or turn them into poor copies of Gemues. On another lead Angelina meets the former Captain of the USNS Clinton in the hopes of tracking down his Executive Officer during the incident. That man was one of the few people that never was affected by the virus.
I've actually realized that I'm running out of new ideas...I may have to go back and revisit the idea of Renate's own book, or perhaps getting into Blaine's life after he's been turned....
Oh yeah and I still need to conclude Of Dhampirs...I really should get on that...

| A Much Delayed Update for my Updates! |

Hi guys! Sorry about being absent so long from this thread. Not that I haven't been hanging around, (I'm here multiple times a day), I just haven't had anything I felt was worth sharing.
Now I do!
First off, what's complete...
Crimson Death
Of Dhampirs
The Only Half Saga
All of these titles have been completely posted. I am kicking around the thought that they will come off my profile by the Holidays but as of yet I'm not sure!
This Wednesday "Forgotten Ties" and "Starting Over" will be pulled from my profile.
Still Kicking:
The Devil's Own posted it's second to last chapter today. Next Saturday the story will be concluded. As with the other Only Half Universe titles, I may pull them down by the Holidays.
Gemutations: Plague is also getting very close to it's conclusion and the major "battle" is underway! Check it out...
Tales from the Dead Zone added a new chapter the other day "survival"
. It takes place a month and a half after the bombs fall near Denver and how Cabal and Carmen are trying to make it through.
In The Beginning While going slow is still active. Now that DO is done being written, I can at least concentrate on that effort.
On Hiatus:
"Michael" is currently on hiatus, I once again I'm coming to the end of what I have written and still have little clue as to how to move the story forward!
"Common Ground" is also on hiatus. I have several more chapters written for upcoming events, but I do not want to leapfrog over BBQ's chapter and therefore have not moved it ahead. Perhaps Vegas can get us going again on that particular story!
On the drawing board:
For sure I am going to be revamping "Promises, Promises" the sequel to Starting Over/Plague because I really liked how that story was progressing! I have some tweaks to do to it, but it won't take much. I just want to be to a certain point in ITB before I begin posting that one.
I am going to try to resurrect "Seraphim and Onxy" as well. Taylor and I have been discussing possible ways to get it moving forward once more, so we'll see how that progresses!
Other than that...hmmm...A story in the Only Half Universe set some decades after the Devil's Own and will be told from Cabal's youngest child, Nathan.
I am still kicking around Renate's story, as well as a few other "minor" players from the universe to see if there is enough of a story there to tell it!
